As a DLHS alum (and classmate of Jon), I'm proud to support Jon because I know he will lead with inclusivity, ask the right questions, and be thoughtful about the perspectives of ALL students, families, and the community.

Jon is a fantastic choice for school board. He is thoughtful and passionate about making decisions that will support all students. He will uplift the community by staying up with the needs of today's young minds and support them in becoming integral leaders in the future of Detroit Lakes. I fully endorse Jon to become a member of DL school board.

Jonathan was an outstanding student in high school. He is an even better person! He has no secret agenda. He truly cares about giving back and will be a reflective, caring school board member. He will make decisions based on what is right for kids!

Jon is the textbook example of a strong leader. Compassionate, caring, thoughtful, and down-to-earth. As an educator myself, he is the exact type of person I would want as a school board member.

I worked with Jon when we were both working for the Aspen Institute and he is an intelligent, well-reasoned person who does diligent work, and I have no doubt he will devote himself to this role with enthusiasm and effectiveness. He has forward-looking, practical ideas for how to shape education for the better.

Jon was in a group of school friends with my daughter. I got know him over those years. Like his parents, he is an honest, smart, rock solid person that will strive for the good of the community and the school district. As a past member of the DL School Board I firmly believe Jon's education and experience will be an asset to the District. I endorse him.
